जय देवी जय देवी जय महिषासुरमथनी ।
सुरवरईश्वरवरदे तारक संजीवनी ॥ धृ. ॥
त्रिभुवनी भुवनी पाहतां तुज ऎसे नाही ।
चारी श्रमले परंतु न बोलावे काहीं ॥
साही विवाद करितां पडिले प्रवाही ।
ते तूं भक्तालागी पावसि लवलाही ॥ २ ॥
प्रसन्न वदने प्रसन्न होसी निजदासां ।
क्लेशापासूनि सोडी तोडी भवपाशा ॥
अंबे तुजवांचून कोण पुरविल आशा ।
नरहरि तल्लिन झाला पदपंकजलेशा ॥ ३ ॥
अनाथनाथे अंबे करुणा विस्तारी ॥
Meaning: O Aadimata Durga, without you everything in this world is very difficult. O Amba, the patroness of the orphans, extend your mercy. (Amba, I cannot reach you, but you must extend your compassion to where I am.)
वारी वारी जन्ममरणांतें वारी ।
हारी पडलो आता संकट निवारी ॥ 1 ॥
Meaning: O Aadimata Durga, get rid of this cycle of birth and death completely. Amba, I am defeated while fighting the crisis, now you remove this crisis.
जय देवी जय देवी महिषासुरमर्दिनी ।
सुरवरईश्वरवरदे तारक संजीवनी ॥ धृ ॥
Meaning: Hail Mother Goddess Mahishasurmardini! Amba, you are the one who gives blessings to the gods and Ishwar (God), you are the star, you are the Sanjivani.
त्रिभुवनभुवनी पाहता तुजऐसी नाही ।

ते तूं भक्तांलागी पावसि लवलाही॥ जय देवी…
Meaning: O Aadimata Durgamayya, even if seen in Tribhuvan, in all the Bhuvans, there is no one like you. The four Vedas worked hard, but nothing was said about your form. The followers of six philosophies about your form got entangled in a mutual dispute and fell into the course of time. Amba, this way the Vedas and philosophy cannot reach you. But you quickly become pleased with the devotees who worship you in the form of Adimata.
प्रसन्नवदने प्रसन्न होसी निजदासा ।
क्लेशांपासुनि सोडवी तोडी भवपाशा ॥
अंबे तुजवांचून कोण पुरविल आशा ।
नरहरि तल्लीन झाला पदपंकजलेशा॥ जय देवी…
Meaning: Oh Prasannavadana Aadimata Durga, you are pleased with your servants. Mother, free me from all troubles and break the bondages of life. Amba, besides you, who else is there who will fulfill my hopes! (Durgamayya, there is no one to fulfill our hopes except you.) Oh Mother Durga, this aarti singer Narhari is engrossed in the dust particles of your lotus feet.
