4. Mantras: The person performing the puja must chant mantras dedicated to Goddess Ganga. Some common mantras are “Om Gange Namah” and “Gange Cha Yamune Chaiva Godavari Saraswati Narmade Sindhu Kaveri Jalesmin Sannidhim Kuru.”
5. Aarti: After the offerings and mantras, the person performing the puja must perform the aarti by lighting a lamp or candle and waving it in front of the deity.
6. Prasad: The puja concludes with the distribution of prasad, which is the blessed food offered to the deity.
