Assam TET Merit List for Sonitpur District of 2021

The Teacher Eligibility Test, known as TET, is the minimum qualification required in India for a person to be eligible for an appointment as a teacher for Classes I to VIII. The test is mandatory for teaching jobs in Indian government schools.

SSA has been operational in Assam since 2000-2001. With the passage of the RTE Act, changes need to be incorporated into the SSA approach, strategies and norms. The changes are not merely confined to norms for providing teachers or classrooms, but encompass the vision and approach to elementary education as evidenced in the shift to child-centric focus entitlements and quality elementary education in regular schools. 

Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE) has declared the Assam 1st Provisional Merit List for Assistant Teacher (LP & UP School Teacher Merit List) on 19th March, 2022 from the official website https://dee.assam.gov.in. Candidates elected in the provisional merit list will have to attend the physical document verification at the closest center from 23/03/2022 to 30/03/2022.
