Kumar Tantra Overview
The book titled “Kumar Tantra” provides valuable information about the medical treatment of children. Children are cherished by everyone, and their well-being is of utmost importance. A home filled with the laughter and cries of children is nothing short of heaven. However, when young ones fall ill, it not only affects them but also causes distress to other family members. According to the book, there are 12 specific influences known as “matrikas” that impact a child’s health. These influences persist for 12 years, causing disturbances in the child’s well-being. This book sheds light on these influences and how they affect the child. Despite the parents’ efforts to seek various treatments, finding a solution becomes challenging. Interestingly, Pt. Sudarshan Sharma Shastri refers to an ancient book composed by Lankapati Ravana that delves into this subject. While it is not uncommon for children to fall ill, recurring illnesses at specific intervals raise concerns. The small child may cry, scream, and inexplicably become ill at certain times. While medical science may seem straightforward, this book explores a deeper understanding of these occurrences.
